Early 1969 Pastor P.M. Philip was invited
to Kuwait during his Gulf tour and conducted several public and
cottage meetings. At a special meeting during this time Pastor
P.M.Philip ordained Bro. George Mathews (Punalur), Bro. P.Y.
Baby (Punthala) and Bro. M.P. Philip (Kollakadavu) to conduct
the services of the Church.
With the increase of believers it had become
necessary to have a full time Minister. This need was informed
to IPC General Council at their head quarters in Kumbanad who
appointed Pastor T.K. Philip (Venmoney) as the first full time
pastor of P.C.K. Pastor T.K. Philip took charge of the church
in April 1975. The tenure of a full time pastor is three years.

Under
the leadership of the above mentioned servants of the Lord the
church grew and the present strength
of the church is more than 550. The Lord is using this
church for the expansion of His Kingdom by supporting the workers
in
the
gospel
fields and extending a helping hand to the co-believers in need.
We give all glory and honor to our beloved Master who laid His
life to give eternal life to all those who believe in Him. |
